LAWRENCEBURG, Tenn. — Cindy Bedford Johnson, a longtime Lawrenceburg native known for her strong work ethic and devotion to family, passed away at the age of 67 at Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital West in Nashville. Her death marks the loss of a woman remembered for her resilience, kindness, and unwavering commitment to those she loved.

Born and raised in Lawrenceburg, Cindy built her life around hard work and family values. She was employed with Dura Automotive, where colleagues remember her as dependable, dedicated, and proud of the work she did. Her sense of responsibility and determination defined both her professional life and her role within her family.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, E.B. and Shirley McFall Bedford; her brother, Phillip Bedford; and her son, Christopher Rochelle. Despite these profound losses, she remained a source of strength and love for those around her.

She is survived by her daughter, Brandy Rochelle Traylor, and son-in-law, Christopher Traylor; her grandsons, Knox and Wyatt Traylor, who were a great source of joy in her life; her sister, Sherry Staggs; and several nieces, including Heather Belew and her husband Sean, Holley Dryden and Rodney, and Hope Coffman and her husband Michael. She is also survived by her special uncle, Mirley McFall, along with many extended family members who cherished her deeply.

Family members describe Cindy as someone whose love was steady and sincere, and whose presence brought comfort and stability. Her passing leaves a lasting void, but her memory will continue through the lives she touched and the family she held so dear.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home in Lawrenceburg. A graveside service and inurnment at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens will be scheduled at a later date, with details to be announced by the family.
