OAK GROVE, Mo. — The Oak Grove community is grieving the sudden passing of Ailisa Jane Hall, 53, whose life was tragically cut short in an accident. Her death has left family, friends, and neighbors reflecting on the lasting impact she made through her warmth, humor, and dedication to those around her.

Ailisa was a proud member of the Oak Grove High School Class of 1991 and remained deeply connected to her hometown throughout her life. From an early age, she was actively involved in her community, participating in Girl Scouts, softball, and gymnastics. That spirit of involvement continued into adulthood, where she became a familiar and trusted presence in local organizations and youth activities.

Known for her commitment to service, Ailisa served as financial secretary for Koger Cemetery and volunteered as the softball scorekeeper for the Youth Lady Panther softball team. She also spent time working as a lunch aide for the Oak Grove School District, a role that allowed her to connect with students and staff alike. Over the years, she held a variety of positions with Gateway Computers, OOIDA, and several local businesses, earning a reputation for reliability and a strong work ethic.

Family members remember Ailisa as a devoted mother and grandmother whose love for her children and grandchildren was evident in everything she did. She is survived by her son, Sam Johnson; daughters, Isabel Brennan and Meredith Brennan; grandchildren, Chozyn and Major Brennan; and her brother, Eric Hall. She is also remembered by Stuart Johnson and Chad Brennan, the fathers of her children. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tony and Sherry Hall.

Those who knew Ailisa fondly recall her quick wit, contagious laughter, and unmistakable presence — often highlighted by her signature curly red hair and boundless energy. She had a gift for bringing humor into everyday moments and making people feel at ease, leaving lasting memories with everyone she encountered.

Services to honor Ailisa’s life will be held Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Royer Funeral Home in Oak Grove. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life service at 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that contributions be made to Royer Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.

As Oak Grove comes together to remember Ailisa Jane Hall, her legacy of love, laughter, and community service will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.
